Hold onto Me

Performed as part of Domestic Matters: Distilling Geographies, Identities and Boundaries
Curated and Directed by Nicole Bauguss & Mair Culbreth
The event combined mixed media, moving bodies, and recycled materials to deliniate the socio-cultural practices of the Agrarian South, questioning to which degree we need to embody such prescribed behaviors.
This improvised solo/duet examined the fragile edges of personal interactions and fine china concluding that often, both are held together with already chewed gum.
