May I borrow a cup of salt

Performed at Columbus Ballet Theatre, The Ohio State University, Brighton Dance Festival, Northland Performing Arts Center
Music by Son Lux, Michael Wall

SALT is an ongoing project about resilience and togetherness and draws to question how easy it is to make a beautiful mess of things. This piece has had several iterations, each individually tailored to the venue in which it was performed. The first, titled "May I borrow a cup of salt" (photographed to the right) was originally choreographed for a Red Cross event benefiting Japan tsunami relief efforts.

"If you wish to forget anything on the spot, make a note that this thing is to be remembered" - Edgar Allan Poe
