Wintering

This project is a conceptual, fractured narrative that presents a surrealist picture of the journey into one’s internal life and the struggle to emerge from isolation towards a reconnection with society. This film explores the cyclical nature of hibernation as well as the human tendency toward social introversion. Additionally, the term “wintering” refers to the act of preparation, as if anticipating a storm or making-ready before a long period of waiting.
