Evik Abbott-Main
Director
Choreographer, director and creator of surreal performance experiences. Their work has been presented with support by Movement Research at the Judson Church, Triskelion Arts, Arts on Site, Center for Performance Research, CUNY Dance Initiative, The Johnstone Fund, OSU Alumni Graduate Research Grants, NYSCA and more. They are a longtime performer with Punchdrunk in their NYC production of Sleep No More. They have worked as a dance consultant to the Canadian Ice Dance Team who would go on to win gold at the 2010 & 2018 Winter Olympics. Additionally working under the moniker Boy Friday, Evik has held residencies with CUNY Dance Initiative, New Dance Alliance, Brighton Dance festival, and a 2019 Kaatsbaan UpStream artist. In 2020, Evik was a Visiting Professor of Contemporary Dance at Indiana University, leading courses in advanced technique and choreography both in-peron and remote (due to covid-19). Additional creative/academic posts were held at The Ohio State University, Eastern Michigan University, Saginaw Valley State, Dance Italia, American College Dance Festival, Brighton Dance Festival, and many more. Their creative work generated through Boy Friday embeds interdisciplinary inquiry within a movement praxis, bringing queer voices & experiences to the foreground. Evik is particularly interested in the ways in which theatricality and personal histories are embedded in the weight of the human body in action and works to bridge these connections in their research. They also remain an active student in yoga, literature, animated video shorts, stilt and other off-ground arts.

Julia Antinozzi
Julia Antinozzi is a dance artist, gemini, and optimist. Julia currently performs with Phoebe Berglund, ChristinaNoel and The Creature, and is excited for her Boy Friday debut. Previous performance credits include works by Bebe Miller, Shayla-Vie Jenkins, and Juli Brandano. Julia’s choreographic work has been presented at Triskelion Arts, Jack Crystal Theater, and New Dance Alliance in NYC, nationally in Seattle and SLC, and internationally in Copenhagen. Julia was an Artist-in-Residence at the Floor on Atlantic, and is a 2022 Satellite Artist at NDA. Julia graduated cum laude from Smith College with a BA in Dance and Astronomy.
Lindsay Harwell
Originally from Dallas, TX, Lindsay Harwell is a New York City based dancer and choreographer. A graduate of the Juilliard School, he has performed the works of William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Andrea Miller, Loni Landon and Pam Tanowitz. since graduating he has worked professionally with Brian Brooks, Gallim Dance, Norbert De La Cruz, Barkin/Selissen Projects, Isodoc Dance and Lone King Projects. Lindsay is also a co-founder of HEWMAN, a collaborative collective of artists bent on widening the potential for equality and empathy between dance audiences and performers.
Akane Little
Akane Little (they/them) is a contemporary dance artist exploring performance as an interdimensional portal into the personal and collective unconscious. They began as a competition dancer in Starkville, MS and went on to study contemporary dance under Alysia Ramos at Oberlin College. They have performed in Cleveland with artists including Catherine Meredith, Megan Young, Rebecca Burcher, and Pam Tanowitz among others; and in Brooklyn with Kinesis Project under the direction of Melissa Riker, and Hivewild under the direction of Katherine Maxwell, among others. They are excited to be working on their first production with Boy Friday.
Suzie Rzecznik
Suzie Rzecznik is based between Boston and NYC. After some time off from performing, Suzie is thrilled to rejoin Boy Friday! In a past life, Suzie performed with Phish, Panorama Music Festival, BARE Dance Company, The Kuperman Brothers, Tyler Gilstrap, Eleana Vazintaris, Jackie Nowicki, Kelly Ashton-Todd, and Boy Friday. Suzie's work has been presented by BOMB Magazine, DIY Dancer Magazine, Marie Claire Mexico, Triskelion Arts, HiArtist, The Craft, Maine International Film Festival, Mobius Gallery, Create Art/The Ace Hotel and Keshet Arts. Suzie is currently serving as movement director for a play, "The Secret in the Wings,'' at Emerson College.
